Staying in this light filled apartment in the old city (Gamla Stan) added to our enjoyment of Stockholm. It is up two flights of stairs and in a beautiful less touristy area of the old city. The bedroom is small with two single comfortable beds that one can push together or apart with minimal clearance, but the room had a historic ceramic fireplace that added atmosphere. The well equipped kitchen had a drip coffee maker and an espresso machine and included a freezer and dishwasher. There was plenty of hot water and the bathroom was spacious with a tub/shower and a steam sauna that we did not use. The seating area was comfortable. We did hear noise from the restaurant/bar across the small street on a Saturday night when the windows were open, and patrons were seated outside, but that died down before midnight and would depend on the season. The apartment is steps from many restaurants including Skeppsbro Bageri on the waterfront which opens early for breakfast.

This place is on a great street that is perfectly located. We walked to everything from here. The place has a lot of charm and is well equipped. The smart TV allowed us to watch Netflix and Amazon Prime. The coffee maker was top notch and the kitchen had everything we needed. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the noise outside at night. We stayed here 2 weeks and two to three nights during our stay there was a group of people outside on the street right by the apartment talking really loud and hollering. This went on for at least 2 or more hours well past midnight. Maybe we just got unlucky as it was not every night. Even with that I would recommend the place as it was great otherwise.

We had a wonderful stay at Elias’s place. The apartment is located in the middle of the old town so it was ideal as a base for a few days.
The apartment itself was comfortable , clean and had everything you might need.

Beliggenheden var intet mindre end fantastisk. Centralt i Gamla Stan, tæt på gode restauranter, søde små butikker og spændende gader og stræder - og væk fra de allermest turistfyldte gader.
Som Airbnb vært i 10 år er det altid en fornøjelse og til stor inspiration at komme ud og besøge andre Airbnb lejligheder og hjem og få en fornemmelse af de valg der er taget for at gøre opholdet så godt som muligt.
Lejligheden er indrettet med funktionelle og gode møbler og fuldt udstyret med alt fra højstole til yogamåtter og espressomaskine. Det er på det punkt en dejlig oplevelse af være i lejligheden. Alle flueben er tjekket af, det er enkelt og funktionelt og lejlighedens beliggenhed og ejendommen fra 1697 er med til at give sjæl og charme.
Vi ankom tidligt og rejste sent, så vi var lidt låste i forhold til vores bagage. Elias anbefalede en lokal tjeneste, hvor en butiksindehaver opbevarede vores tasker. Smart og enkelt.

2. Respect the quiet hours between 22h00 to 08h00, to ensure a peaceful environment for all residents.
3. Check-in starts from 16h00 onwards, and check-out must be completed by 10h00 at the latest.
4. Only the number of people stated in the booking are allowed to stay in the property. No parties, larger gatherings, or overnight guests are permitted without prior approval from the host. These rules are enforced by camera surveillance at the entrance door and a decibel monitor. Failure to comply with this rule will result in the dispatch of a Securitas guard to your residence to ensure silence, this will be a cost of approximately 3000 sek that will be charged to your reservation.
5. Treat the property with care and respect. The neighbors are part of our community, so please be considerate of them as well.
6. Pets are not allowed on the property.
7. Personal items left on the premises are not the responsibility of the host.
8. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment, on balconies, and within 15 meters of the building entrance, in compliance with Swedish law.
Fee for smoking: 5000 sek
9. If keys are lost, additional charges will apply:
- A fee of 2000 kr will be charged for the lost key and service.
- Replacing the lock will incur a fee of 4000 kr.
10. Checkout Instructions: All dishes must be washed, garbage disposed of, and used linen and towels collected and placed inside the apartment near the entrance door. Failure to follow these instructions or leaving the apartment excessively dirty will result in additional charges.
Fee for leaving dirty dishes: 200 SEK
Fee for not collecting used linen and towels: 200 SEK
Fee for not properly preparing the property for checkout: additional cleaning charges will apply.
By accepting and signing, you are agreeing to follow our house rules. Any violations of these rules will be reported and may result in an immediate cancellation without a refund for your stay.
