Olof is a great host. This was my second year in the row at his place. His place is on one of the best streets in town.

We just spent 5 nights at Olaf’s place. The location is wonderful. Tons of cafes, restaurants, bars and parks all steps away. It was a bonus being so close to the Metro station as well. Unfortunately, there is a great deal of maintenance required at the property. There are many lights that do not work. The bathroom has no window and the one working light is so dim that it is always very dark. The toaster is broken. The 2 burner electric hob does not work and 3 out of the 4 burners on the stove top do not work. I noticed that these issues have all been mentioned in previous reviews but obviously no repairs have been done.
One thing that seems to be newly fixed though is that we did not have any problems with the wifi which was great.
Overall - great location but lots of maintenance required.

The apartment is in a great location surrounded by restaurants, easy to get to using the metro.
A number of issues:
- When I booked WiFi was included, this was later removed by Olof who did not himself inform me ahead of time or offer a solution when I raised this, as a result there is no way to use the TV either.
- Several maintenance issues: non functional and hanging light fixtures, the bathroom is particularly dark, broken shower door handle etc. these could be easily rectified
- Not appropriate to request for removal of linen etc when paying for cleaning costs.
- Ground floor flat by the bins so if you open the bedroom window in the summer, be prepared to be disturbed by the noise!
A lovely flat in a great location but needs upkeep.

The host has an absurd "rental agreement" that he asks you to sign (separate from AirBnB, through Hostaway) that demands an upload of your photo ID, your social media profile, and the "purpose of your visit." He doesn't send this until a day or two before the scheduled stay, when it's far too late to find alternative lodgings if you're not comfortable sharing this info (as you shouldn't be).
The area is beautiful and the apartment is spacious. Normally it would be a nice space. It seemed that we were staying in between stages of a renovation though. Multiple ceiling light fixtures were hanging by wires, not attached to the ceilings. The ceiling lights in the bedroom and in the bathroom sink area didn't work.
The pillows were very uncomfortable, bring your own if you're planning to stay here.

Olof’s place was amazing! Very close to the metro, which I used quite often. It was clean, peaceful, and close to some popular bars/cafes. I would definitely go back! One thing to note is WiFi is not included with the apartment, even though the check in instructions listed the network name/password. I think the instructions just need to be updated so there’s no confusion. When I mentioned this to Olof he said he could reimburse me for an e-sim card, but I just made do even though I appreciated the offer!

1. Respect the quiet hours between 22h00 to 08h00, to ensure a peaceful environment for all residents.
2. Only the number of people stated in the booking are allowed to stay in the property. No parties, larger gatherings, or overnight guests are permitted without prior approval from the host. These rules are enforced by camera surveillance at the entrance door and a decibel monitor. Failure to comply with this rule will result in the dispatch of a Securitas guard to your residence to ensure silence, this will be a cost of approximately €300 that will be charged to your reservation.
3. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment, on balconies, and within 15 meters of the building entrance, in compliance with Swedish law.
4. Treat the property with care and respect. Our neighbors are part of our community, so please be considerate of them as well.
5. Pets are not allowed on the property.
6. Check-in starts from 15h00 onwards, and check-out must be completed by 11h00 at the latest.
7. Personal items left on the premises are not the responsibility of the host.
8. Ensure all dishes are washed and garbage disposed of as instructed in the property's check-in details before departure. Failure to follow the checkout instructions and/or leaving the apartment exceedingly dirty will render an additional fee of €50.
By accepting and signing, you are agreeing to follow our house rules. Any violations of these rules will be reported and may result in an immediate cancellation without a refund for your stay.
