As a couple we stayed for a long weekend at the end of November - snow and ice outside and very festive.
The apartment was lovely and warm and exactly as described. It has just been decorated and was very clean and tidy, plenty of hot water - nice shower and enough space to relax when weren’t out exploring. It is a compact , simple, quirky and characterful space which feels authentic.
We would say it’s perfect for a couple, perhaps two couples/small family if not spending lots of time in the apartment as there are just two armchairs that perfectly suit the space.
The location is excellent at the-far end of Gamla Stan with really easy access to all the sights-lots of key visitor attractions areas, restaurants, cafes etc.
Coop opposite is really useful.
A really wonderful experience in Stockholm enhanced by this lovely apartment- would definitely recommend.

Great stay at Frederik's Airbnb. Area was amazing for visiting al the sightseeing in Stockholm. Super cute typical Swedish house. Host replied very quick, always within 15 minutes. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful 3 night stay in the heart of Gamla Stan in Stockholm. Couldn't get more central if we had tried. Apartment was comfortable and warm with plenty of space. Loads of hot water for showers and, with a private kitchen, we could easily have self catered if there hadn't been a plethora of restaurants literally on our doorstep.
The apartment is on the 3rd floor of an historic building and there are a formidable series of stairs to the entrance but other than that, we would recommend this apartment to everyone.

Le logement de Frédérik est extrêmement bien situé, dans Gamla qui est le quartier historique. Beaucoup de restaurants, et de magasins pour touriste. Le logement est semblable aux description présentées. Cependant, il n’est pas d’une extrême propreté, les vitres sont sales, il y a des taches sur les matelas et les oreillers. Une partie des murs n’est pas peinte, mais il semblerait que ce cela soit dû à un dégât des eaux. Dans l’ensemble c’est un bon logement, très acceptable.

The apartment and location were actually really cool and the place was clean.
I have two remarks that would make the experience better:
The communication with the host was automated and required additional information outside the Airbnb app.
The bathroom drain smelled (which had nothing to do with the surface cleanliness as it was spotless)
House rules
1. Respect the quiet hours between 22h00 to 08h00, to ensure a peaceful environment for all residents.
2. I might ask for additional identification and information upon booking
3. Only the number of people stated in the booking are allowed to stay in the property. No parties, larger gatherings, or overnight guests are permitted without prior approval from the host. These rules are enforced by an exterior surveillance camera located outside the entrance. There is also a decibel monitor inside the property. Failure to comply with this rule will result in the dispatch of a security guard to your residence to ensure silence, this will be a cost of approximately €300 that will be charged to your reservation.
4. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment, on balconies, and within 15 meters of the building entrance, in compliance with Swedish law.
5. Treat the property with care and respect. Our neighbors are part of our community, so please be considerate of them as well.
6. Pets are not allowed on the property.
7. Check-in starts from 16h00 onwards, and check-out must be completed by 10h00 at the latest.
8. Personal items left on the premises are not the responsibility of the host.
9. Loss of keys means we need to change locks to a cost of 2000 SEK, so please be careful
10. Ensure all dishes are washed and garbage disposed of as instructed in the property's check-in details before departure. Failure to follow the checkout instructions and/or leaving the apartment exceedingly dirty will render an additional fee.
By accepting and signing, you are agreeing to follow our house rules. Any violations of these rules will be reported and may result in an immediate cancellation without a refund for your stay.
