The apartment was very clean—which is especially important to me—and matched the photos. It’s located very centrally between a playground and the busy pedestrian street in Gamla Stan. From there you can easily explore Stockholm in every direction. We found the access to the apartment a bit inconvenient, as you always had to carry your phone with you. The service for any questions or issues was flawless.

PROS: The location in Gamla Stan is great and makes all of Stockholm accessible. Host is very communicative and helped to fix the WiFi connection. The apartment is very spacious.
CONS: The space is very bare bones and needs maintenance, updating, and cleaning, especially for the price. Linens and rugs were dirty, towels tiny, no trash can in the bathroom, no bedside tables or Kleenex. Lastly, the apartment is up a very steep flight of stairs, which should be mentioned in the description so different types of travelers are aware.

Apartment was overall decently decorated but tired & needs maintenance. Location is good but very touristy area & gets unpleasant one street away. I would not choose to stay in this area again. Very complicated check in forms, requires an app we didn’t have warning for. Very corporate vibe - extra fees proposed when we asked about an early check in but no compensation for the fact that the cleaning lady was still at the apartment when we did arrive 2 hours after designated time.
I have done Airbnb since its inception & never had issues. This one was a bit disappointing.
On a positive note, the pull out bed was comfortable but no curtain on kitchen window makes it bright to sleep there.

1. Additional identification and information may be requested upon booking.
1. Respect the quiet hours between 22h00 to 08h00, to ensure a peaceful environment for all residents.
2. Only the number of people stated in the booking are allowed to stay in the property. No parties, larger gatherings, or overnight guests are permitted without prior approval from the host. These rules are enforced by an exterior surveillance camera located outside the entrance. There is also a decibel monitor inside the property. Failure to comply with this rule will result in the dispatch of a security guard to your residence to ensure silence, this will be a cost of approximately €300 that will be charged to your reservation.
3. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment, on balconies, and within 15 meters of the building entrance, in compliance with Swedish law. If there are signs of smoking after checkout you will be charged up to 5000 sek in cleaning fees.
4. Treat the property with care and respect. Our neighbors are part of our community, so please be considerate of them as well.
5. Pets are not allowed on the property.
6. Check-in starts from 16h00 onwards, and check-out must be completed by 11h00 at the latest.
7. Personal items left on the premises are not the responsibility of the host.
8. Loss of keys means we need to change locks to a cost of 2000 SEK, so please be careful
9. Ensure all dishes are washed and garbage disposed of as instructed in the property's check-in details before departure. Failure to follow the checkout instructions and/or leaving the apartment exceedingly dirty will render an additional fee.
By accepting and signing, you are agreeing to follow our house rules. Any violations of these rules will be reported and may result in an immediate cancellation without a refund for your stay.
