I stayed at William's place in January and the price was super for the location: makes me want to give 6 stars, and I strain to find anything bad to say. The studio is tiny but it turns this to an advantage, with a cozy loft (VERY warm) and a living space that has been thought out to be comfortable and have everything at hand—including, somehow, clothes and dishwasher. I cooked on the one-burner hotplate and made it all work.
Winter in Gamla Stan is quiet and magical. I walked everywhere I needed to work, as well as to and from the Central Station. No noise issues. The bed is two singles pushed together—the usual in Scandinavia. Most appreciated was a selection of different pillows.
William's management is to-the-point and very organized. Highly recommended.

-Strictly no guests except for confirmed number of guests in the booking unless from our side explicitly agreed beforehand.
-If any extra guests are seen entering we will cancel the booking without no refund as it is strictly against the house rules.
- No partying or "events" are allowed, including "dinners/drinks for friends". Ask if in doubt.
-With respect for our neighbors: quiet after 22:00.
- No smoking whatsoever (also not by the window or at the courtyard) - you need to walk out on the street. Smoking in the unit OR ON THE COURTYARD will be charged with SEK 2000 (!)
-Due to allergy: no pets allowed.
-Do not leave the windows open without properly securing them.
-Do not use bed sofa (nor pillows and duvets) without proper bed linen for hygiene reasons. Also please don’t use the decoration pillows and bed throw for sleeping.
-Please do not wear shoes inside the unit.
-Normal check-in is 15:00 or later. Check-out is 10:00. Late check-out and/or early check-in may be possible, but will come with a fee for express cleaning.
-Please note there is a restaurant in ground floor (for instance getting deliveries some mornings). Hence the listing is marked "sound disturbed" - see that section if you are light sleeper or easily disturbed!
