Excellent location for exploring Stockholm. Lots of restaurants, pubs, shops close by. Stepping into Olaf’s place was like stepping back in time -lots of character! Nice kitchen with lots of amenities. Loved the spacious bathroom with heated floors.

Olof's listing is a spacious, comfortable apartment in the old city of Stockholm. It has an artsy, interesting feel, with a spectacular bathroom. The bathroom is a room in itself, with double sinks, an amazing tub, and heated flooring. It is quite luxurious. I am a spry 75-year-old and had no trouble, but just be aware that there are steps to go to the different levels of the apartment (and to get into the tub). The location is great, easily accessible to some of the most interesting parts of Stockholm.

We stayed at Olof's place for our first visit to Stockholm and would definitely stay again when coming back! It's extremely walkable and close to public transportation as well for those who don't enjoy walking. It was clean and had a lot of space for us to spread out. A perfect option, close to everything!

Huuuge apartment on 3 levels from basement to street to first floor. Greta kitchen with all the tools to make a great meal, Lego for the kids, Playstation for the older kids, even a guitar which was mostly in tune!
The only downside is that you are on the ground floor of a secluded narrow alley, which is usually empty, but if a bunch of drinks decide to have a debate just under your windows it's not a very nice experience (happened once on our first night, we asked them to move and since then everything was quiet.). Awesome location and a very decent price. Highly highly recommend

While this place was GORGEOUS aesthetically and an excellent location in Gamla Stan, there were serious plumbing issues. We reported the slow shower/tub right away on day 1 of our 7 day stay and that there was a foul smell in the hall bathroom. The following night the bathroom flooded after a quick shower. The hall bathroom odor continued to get worse and then the dishwasher wouldn't work. We communicated all of this to the host and he said he would send someone by. We spent an entire morning waiting to "hear back" about someone coming to fix the plumbing and no one came - which also meant we missed out on an entire morning of exploring the city. We were there for 7 days and no one came to fix the plumbing and no apology for the inconveniences we experienced despite repeated follow ups on our end.
Everything else was comfortable and homey. The home could use more dish & bath towels since we had 4 adults for a week - we had to do laundry 3x to have enough towels.

2. Respect the quiet hours between 22h00 to 08h00, to ensure a peaceful environment for all residents.
3. Check-in starts from 16h00 onwards, and check-out must be completed by 10h00 at the latest.
4. Only the number of people stated in the booking are allowed to stay in the property. No parties, larger gatherings, or overnight guests are permitted without prior approval from the host. These rules are enforced by camera surveillance at the entrance door and a decibel monitor. Failure to comply with this rule will result in the dispatch of a Securitas guard to your residence to ensure silence, this will be a cost of approximately 3000 sek that will be charged to your reservation.
5. Treat the property with care and respect. The neighbors are part of our community, so please be considerate of them as well.
6. Pets are not allowed on the property.
7. Personal items left on the premises are not the responsibility of the host.
8. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment, on balconies, and within 15 meters of the building entrance, in compliance with Swedish law.
Fee for smoking: 5000 sek
9. If keys are lost, additional charges will apply:
- A fee of 2000 kr will be charged for the lost key and service.
- Replacing the lock will incur a fee of 4000 kr.
10. Checkout Instructions: All dishes must be washed, garbage disposed of, and used linen and towels collected and placed inside the apartment near the entrance door. Failure to follow these instructions or leaving the apartment excessively dirty will result in additional charges.
Fee for leaving dirty dishes: 200 SEK
Fee for not collecting used linen and towels: 200 SEK
Fee for not properly preparing the property for checkout: additional cleaning charges will apply.
