I arranged a conference nearby and so several of us planned to stay near the venue. We did not realise that this site was one giant complex, which one local told us used to be a refugee camp that has converted into AirBNBs. It is clean and modern. If you want to stay in an IKEA version of a Black Mirror episode, this is the place for you. I didn't have too much trouble, but other members of our conference were unable to access their rooms, the instructions given were incomplete, Elias was unresponsive, and the whole feel was one of Kafka-technology - endless bureacratic apps and forms rather than a human who could help. There is one shop on site, without a human operating it - you need to text a remote operator. There was very little fresh food there. We were told there is an alarm in the property that will call security if we make noise. This was intrusive and strange. We were also told left behind property cannot be returned. Presumably it will be incinerated.
