Our second time in Stockholm, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The location is perfect. The flat is delightful, amenities abound the area and you are central to everything. The rooms are interspersed so you do not live on top of each other, which makes it more suitable.

The apartment is a lovely place and perfectly located. It is on a busy, but not too busy street in Gamla Stan. This allows you to feel a level of 'buzziness' without getting too loud. All of central Stockholm (Soderhalm, Osterhalm, downtown, 'museum island') is an easy walk. The apartment is on the 3rd floor in a circa 1600 building. So, no elevators and somewhat steep circular stone stairs. The apartment has two levels. The bottom level is half the size of the top level and consists of a foyer, 3/4 bathroom (no tub), two small bedrooms (about the size of the bed and a nightstand), and a larger room between the two bedrooms (it seems to be used as an office). There is some shelving and rack to store clothes in the larger room. Both bedrooms face the street. The top level consists of a back bedroom, a dining room / den (has a fireplace), a eat-in kitchen, a living room, a small loft above the living room (just big enough for a bed), and another bedroom facing the street.

Our family of 6 greatly enjoyed our stay! The apartment was in the perfect location - walking distance to everything and lots of good restaurants really close by. Loved the unique architecture.

We had a wonderful stay in Gamla Stan at Elias’s place. It is in a terrific location, one block in from the water. It was close to all of the main sites in Stockholm, including the Royal Palace, the Vasa Museum, the National Museum and so much more. The apartment is on the third floor with some tricky steps, but very doable for our family with 3 young kids. There are also a number of nice restaurants on the same street as the apartment building, which was very convenient for dinner out with the family. We would recommend this to anyone looking to stay in Stockholm for multiple nights and close to all of the main attractions.

Professionally managed. Overall good experience and company made reasonable efforts to correct any issues we raised. 5 stars was earned by them. As discussed, I believe the description of the unit would benefit from more details about the unevenness of the common area stairs leading up to the unit and the slope of the floors (for mobility-impaired persons), the very limited hot water when compared to the maximum sleep capacity, and the appliances (in particular, the dishwasher) should have very basic instructions included. Including this here to assist other travelers but have also requested the description to be updated by the management company for future travelers. Worthwhile and highly valuable stay on Gamla Stan with these factors in mind!

This is a wonderful place to stay in a perfect location in Stockholm. The apartment itself is clean and very well-kept, with plenty of space and some nice amenities that are listed in the description. The host was responsive and clear in all communications. The location couldn't have been better for us—centrally positioned within the city and close to the metro whenever we needed it. We'd love to return!

**HOUSE RULES**
1. Respect the quiet hours between 22h00 to 08h00, to ensure a peaceful environment for all residents.
2. I might ask for additional identification and information upon booking
3. Only the number of people stated in the booking are allowed to stay in the property. No parties, larger gatherings, or overnight guests are permitted without prior approval from the host. These rules are enforced by an exterior surveillance camera located outside the entrance. There is also a decibel monitor inside the property. Failure to comply with this rule will result in the dispatch of a security guard to your residence to ensure silence, this will be a cost of approximately €300 that will be charged to your reservation.
4. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment, on balconies, and within 15 meters of the building entrance, in compliance with Swedish law.
5. Treat the property with care and respect. Our neighbors are part of our community, so please be considerate of them as well.
6. Pets are not allowed on the property.
7. Check-in starts from 15h00 onwards, and check-out must be completed by 11h00 at the latest.
8. Personal items left on the premises are not the responsibility of the host.
9. Loss of keys means we need to change locks to a cost of 2000 SEK, so please be careful
10. Ensure all dishes are washed and garbage disposed of as instructed in the property's check-in details before departure. Failure to follow the checkout instructions and/or leaving the apartment exceedingly dirty will render an additional fee.
