The apartment had many great features, as you can see in the photos: plenty of space, two separate bedrooms, a separate bathroom and toilet, and a fantastic view. To give a balanced overview, I’d like to point out a few issues to keep in mind. We stayed from January 9 to 11 when there was a lot of snow and it was cold, and inside the apartment it felt chilly – the windows didn’t close tightly and there was a draft. The apartment also showed some general wear. In the photos it looks newly renovated, but in reality several areas need cleaning and repair: there was mold in the shower, the windows need better sealing, and all the drawers squeaked. The door to the larger bedroom squeaked badly, so we decided not to use it. It would also be wise to check the plumbing.

Amazing stay and extremely comfortable with lots of shops near by also the train being near by as well would really recommend to anyone coming Sweden.

Perfect accommodation for an affordable weekend in Åre! A bright, fresh apartment with everything you need and an amazing view over Åre village! The location is just right, making it incredibly easy to get to the slopes or head down to town via the cable car. Definitely worth a return visit!

Excellent place to stay

The apartment is amazing and we enjoyed our stay a lot! The surrounding is beautiful, in the middle of the city and easy to explore by walk. I can very much recommend it!

We had a great stay in Åre and really enjoyed this apartment. The location is excellent – close to the lifts and the village, yet quiet and peaceful. You can walk to the village, but the mountain funicular is just a few steps away, as well as the bridge to the slopes and the lift that takes you straight into the ski area. The apartment was very clean, warm and well equipped, with comfortable beds and enough space for two people with ski gear. There is plenty of parking around the building (paid but easy to arrange), and there is also a nice restaurant in the building itself. Communication with the host was smooth and professional. The digital key system worked perfectly and made our late arrival easy and stress-free. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place.

A good apartment very close to the slopes and within walking distance of Åre village. Pontus replied quickly and was both helpful and friendly. All in all, a really nice place to stay for me and my 13-year-old son. The only thing I’d note is that the apartment was a bit more worn than the photos suggested.

The apartment is very comfortable, and the beds are excellent. It’s conveniently located near the train and tram stations, with great connections across the city at all hours.

Happy with the accommodation, but you should be aware that there’s a long and steep hill up from Åre square. Thankfully, the Bergbanan funicular is right next door.
