It’s an apartment of contradictions. There’s a high-end coffee machine, but not even a simple broom to sweep the floor. The apartment has beautiful high ceilings and natural light, yet the bathroom sink has quite low water pressure, and then it takes several minutes for the sink to drain.The additional charges were perhaps the clearest indication of the owner’s priorities. We were charged an extra $500 for our two young children (ages 5 and 6), plus SEK 500 for early check-in. It left the impression that this is an investment property optimized for maximizing fees while minimizing attention to the guest experience.Overall, it’s a nice apartment, but we’ve stayed in nicer places in Östermalm for less money and with far greater attention to detail.

A highly recommended stay!The apartment was great overall. The bed was comfortable, and the temperature in the apartment was perfect at all times. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing simple meals, everything was spotless, and the check-in process was super easy.The location is a big plus: a pleasant, quiet neighborhood close to points of interest, with plenty of public transport nearby to get around easily.One small suggestion: the listing description mentioned a microwave, but on arrival I noticed there wasn’t one. Still, the experience was fantastic and I’d definitely come back.

I stayed at William's place for 4 nights in late July, 2026 with my wife and two kids (16 and 13 years old). The house was just as described and the location in Gamla Stan was vibrant and fun. There is so much to do and see just within a 10-minute walk of the house! We spent a couple of days on Djurgarden (the island with several museums and Grona Lund), and the ferry stop (called Slussen) was just a 10-minute walk from the house. I was impressed with how clean Gamla Stan was. As for the house itself, my 13 year-old son loved sleeping up in the loft, and it felt like there was plenty of room for the four of us. As noted in the description, the stairs are a little gnarly, but we had no trouble getting up and down. This was the perfect place for us to stay for our time in Stockholm. Thank you, William!

Comfortable and very clean in a great neighborhood! Main bed and sofa bed were both very comfortable. Host was responsive and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!
